It may not be a mistake to marry him/ her. The best thing about it is to realize whether that person can become your husband or wife. Where there are: love, respect, fear, sharing, confidence or trust, faithfulness etc... it doesn't matter of first person. Besides once God gives his approval in it marriage can as well take place.
